LOMOD CORPORATION MISSION STATEMENT
Lomod Corporation is a 501 c 3 organization that continues to distribute free food
to at least 20 low and moderate income families every week as funds are available.
We are located in Daytona Beach, Florida. We are neighbors helping neighbors.
Lomod Corporation purchases foods through 2 Harvest Food Bank and Publix and
will be distributing through a local church, middle school and elementary school.
We are serving approximately 20+- low- and moderate-income families every
week. The distributed yields approximately 80 meals per recipient. We are also
aligning ourselves with Blessings In a Backpack for students in need of weekend
family assistance. The need is greater than what we are able to provide.
Lomod’s research shows that there are around 3,000 homeless children attending
Volusia County Schools. Our community’s low and moderate income families and
children depend on the generosity of foundations and businesses to meet the basic
need of nutritious meals to help give them the opportunity to fulfill their full
potential. Food is not just physical health, it is mental health. Please see our
projected budget attached FY 2025.
Lomod Corporation also builds single family affordable housing for low and
moderate income families, 1 st responders, and municipal employees that qualify
through the 1st Time Homebuyers Program as defined by the Department of
Housing and Urban Development.
It is a well-researched fact that the combination of rising rents and
diminished access to home ownership is wreaking havoc on families across
America. Lomod is dedicated to transforming lives through affordable
housing.
